Job Details
- Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical / Telemetry at Pikeville Medical Center
- Guaranteed Hours Per Week : 48 HRs requirement - will not accept 36
- Primary Location : Pikeville Medical Center Pikeville, KY
- Minimum Experience : 1+ year in specialty. MUST have Level I or Level II Trauma experience.
- Charting Experience Required : Care View / EPIC (effective June 1) preferred, will train on-site
- Required Skillset : General Med / Tele. Must be able to read / interpret tele strips
- Patient ratio : 1 : 6

Schedule Information
- Shift Requirements : 12 HR Nights blocked schedule requests will only be accommodated for weekend rotation
- Weekend / Holiday Requirements : every other weekend / holiday required unless given time off approval
Unit Specific Information
- Unit Information : 340 bed Level II Trauma Center. Patient ratio : 1 : 6. Beds : 15-45 beds depending on which unit you are on.

Additional Details
- 75 mile radius rule
- Float Requirements : Med Surg / Tele units will float throughout all in-patient areas. May be tasked as an aide if other units need assistance.
- COVID Vaccine Requirements : Covid Vaccine required unless medical / religious declination is applicable. If declination is accepted, weekly testing is required at the traveler / agency expense & verification.
- GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
