We are seeking a dedicated Permanent Litigation Paralegal to join our high-performing legal team. The successful candidate will be involved in the entire litigation process, from pretrial litigation to trial preparation.

This role demands a deep understanding of the legal industry, particularly in the construction or government contract sectors.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in legal research, litigation support, case investigation, and electronic filing.

This role requires proficiency in iConect Xera, LAW PreDiscovery, and other relevant software.

Responsibilities :

• Assist attorneys in all aspects of pretrial litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct detailed legal research and case investigations to support the development of legal arguments.
• Manage the discovery process, including scanning, cataloging, and ESI processing.
• Provide litigation support for large scale complex litigation, including preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Draft and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable legal rules and court procedures.
• Coordinate with the legal team to develop case strategies and trial preparation.
• Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all important case documents are easily accessible.
• Utilize iConect Xera, LAW PreDiscovery, and other software for document review and management.
• Prepare and electronically file court documents, adhering to strict deadlines.

Qualifications :

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably in the construction litigation or government contract sectors.
• Proven experience in pretrial litigation, legal research, litigation support, and trial preparation.
• Proficiency in iConect Xera, LAW PreDiscovery, and other relevant legal software.
• Strong experience in the discovery process, including scanning, cataloging, and ESI processing.
• Excellent legal writing skills and experience drafting legal documents.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large amounts of data and information.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in law or related field, or equivalent work experience. Paralegal certification is preferred.
