Wespath, recognized as a 2017-2024 Chicago's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For and a 2018-2024 National Best and Brightest Companies to Work For, has an opportunity for a Solutions Analyst / Developer that is responsible for building features and scalable architectures for web applications and backend services under the guidance of technical leaders or a product owner.
Candidates should have practical experience in web development, service-oriented architecture, and database development, along with a strong grasp of software engineering best practices.
Responsibilities include writing technical specifications, developing code, executing unit tests, reviewing code, and managing releases.
The ideal candidate will have full stack development experience or a strong desire to pursue it and should be a continuous learner who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
More specifically, as a Solutions Analyst / Developer you will :
- Analyze business problems and requirements, using functional analysis and modeling to create technical designs and specifications.
- Translate designs into technical solutions, adapting code to meet business needs.
- Design, code, test, debug, document and maintain all code modules as required.
- Develop technical solutions that consider system capacity, limitations, and performance.
- Analyze and troubleshoot production issues, implementing effective resolutions.
- Adhere to established methodologies for source control, CI / CD pipelines, and the general Software Development Life Cycle.
- Identify opportunities for improvements and keep management informed of status, issues, and challenges.
- Update peers and management on potential changes affecting operations or deliverables.
- Meet commitments to customers and team members, completing work on time.
- Deliver high-quality work with minimal errors or revisions.
- Manage time effectively, considering project priorities, deadlines, and leadership expectations.
Solutions Analyst / Developer Compensation and Benefits :

- The compensation range for this position is $116,000 - 128,000 with a bonus opportunity and customary benefits. Final compensation will be set based on the hired applicant's qualifications (education, training, and / or experience related to this role), and as such, may fall outside the range shown.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
inimum of 3 years using React / Redux framework.
- Minimum of 2 years using C# .NET.
- Must have strong knowledge of developing, troubleshooting, and supporting complex applications.
- Demonstrate expertise in developing solutions using web and Microsoft stack languages and technologies (C#, JavaScript, Typescript, React, HTML / CSS, PowerShell).
Preferred Qualifications :
- Proficient use of source control and CI / CD process technologies (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git repositories, automated unit testing).
- Knowledge of Boomi workflow processing or similar low / no-code solutioning tools a plus.
- Knowledge of Oracle PL / SQL or Transact-SQL.
- Practical experience with service-oriented architecture, such as ServiceStack.
- Knowledge of 403(b), 401(k) pension record-keeping systems, and / or health and welfare benefits systems a plus.
