Key Responsibilities
- Enhance Game Experienc e : Utilize quantitative analysis to uncover insights into how our games are played, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth
- Support Design Decision s : Provide the game team with data-driven insights, ideas, and impact assessments to inform design decision
- Actionable Insight s : Proactively deliver analyses across various aspects of game development, including game design, monetization strategies, and marketing initiative
- Optimize Business Performanc e : Apply analytics to refine our business strategies, from marketing campaigns to in-game events and offer
- Collaborate Cross-functionall y : Work closely with designers, engineers, and other team members to expand the use of data in improving our game
Qualifications
Experien ce : Proven experience as a Product Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Scientist or in a similar role within the gaming industry.
Building retention and LTV curves are something you've done - and you know where to look in the data to find further insights.
- Technical Skil ls : Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL, with a strong command of data analysis and statistical methods.
- Data Science Workfl ow : Expertise in the data science workflow, including applying statistical methods and understanding potential biases in data.
- Communicati on : Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical audiences.
- Gaming Passi on : A genuine passion for gaming, whether it's Candy Crush, Halo, or anything in between.
- Teamwork & Autono my : Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvements.
- Advanced Skil ls : Advanced knowledge in statistics, data visualization, programming, or related fields.
- Modern Too ls : Familiarity with modern data processing tools and cloud platforms - we use Redshift and Quicksight, among others.
- A / B Testing & Modeli ng : Experience with A / B testing, developing confidence intervals, predictive modeling, building data tools, and creating insightful visualizations.
