Position Objective :

HOYA Vision Care is seeking a Project Manager as a key member of the Project Management Office to lead complex SAP software implementation projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Functional / Technical SAP background (e.g. Order to Cash, Procure to Pay) combined with excellent leadership and communication skills.

The PMO is an enterprise business group focused on achieving business value by providing portfolio management, program and project delivery, and business analysis expertise to ensure the governance and timely delivery of all strategic business initiatives.

Emphasis will be on the candidate's ability to possess and demonstrate the ability to learn a diverse portfolio of projects in a fast-paced global environment.

Primary Responsibilities :

Leverage SAP ERP / Financials software implementation experience to lead implementation projects

Ability to manage multiple complex strategic projects under the Back-Office domain of programs and projects including but not limited to IT, Operations and Engineering, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Procurement organizations while working with multiple internal and external cross-functional teams including Commercial, Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Legal, and Compliance.

Collaborate with the Business Analyst to define project scope, timelines and key deliverables in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to build out priorities, workstreams and identify key area of risk and change management that are necessary for a smooth implementation.

Develop detailed project plans, project charter, business requirements and ensure key project objectives are in line with PMO processes and procedures.

Effectively communicate project statuses on all assigned projects to all stakeholders, including executive management via weekly and monthly project status reporting to the executive committee, department leaders, and executive management.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and SAP best practices.

Assess change management impact and revise plans as appropriate to recover and meet timelines and milestones. Monitor project issues, mitigate risks, scope creep and change requests, using internal PMO controls and procedures.

Work closely with project sponsors and / or team members, from plan development to final completion and deliver projects on-time and within budget.

Manage PMO administrative tasks such as strategic planning, budgeting, project and portfolio tools administration as required.

Work with the Director of PMO to continually enhance PMO process and methodologies to streamline and standardize key business processes across business divisions and functions.

Initiate and maintain outside contractor / supplier / vendor relations.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience :

5+ years of project management experience leading SAP ERP / Financials software implementation projects

Strong knowledge of SAP modules and integration points - Order to Cash, Procure to Pay. Ability to understand and communicate complex technical SAP concepts.

SAP S / 4HANA Cloud implementation experience a plus.

Strong understanding of the software delivery life cycle and development methodologies.

Experience working in a cross-functional and global environment.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management or related field preferred.

PMP Certification preferred. CAPM or other relevant project management certification a plus.

Strong cross-functional project management knowledge and skills.

Excellent leadership, communication, executive presence and strong organizational acumen.

Project Management Tools Experience (e.g. Power PPM, Planview, Acuity, Clarity) required. MS Office Suite, MS Project, proficiency necessary.

CAD or Visio proficiency a plus.

Optical lens manufacturing / optical laboratory industry experience preferred. Experience with contract negotiation required.

Ability to travel nationally and / or internationally as required.

Exceptional analytical, facilitation and negotiation skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues independently.

Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills to support necessary interaction with executives, third party vendors, and internal customers to produce quality results.

Proficient in building relationships with leaders, target organizations and staff.

Motivated self-starter who can handle projects and complexities with minimal supervision.

Flexible managing multiple assignments and proficient in managing priorities.

Strong team player skills, with a collaborative and solution-driven mentality.
