Qualifications :

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in theState.
• ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification.
• Experience in school settings is highly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of local and state guidelines for speech-language therapy in educational environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct prehensive evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students, focusing on enhancing munication skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students educational and social development.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
