This is a zero-to-one moment for Livepeer Studio’s AI tooling, and comes at a critical inflection point in the video AI community.
As a founding member of Livepeer Studio’s AI product engineering team, you will be responsible for iterating on a new video AI developer product and bringing it to market.
This is an entrepreneurial role. You will work cross-functionally to help Livepeer Studio capture the revenue opportunities created by the emerging AI capabilities of the Livepeer network.
Requirements
- Deeply understand the video AI ecosystem, including generative AI, computer vision, and legacy ML.
- Extensive experience in building developer products, and understand what it takes to onboard developers onto a new tool.
- Working experience with image and video AI models (both diffusion and LLM), and know how to evaluate performance characteristics of these models.
- Deep familiarity with AI developer tooling.
- Iterate quickly with a small product and engineering team to identify, derisk, and execute on value-generating product offerings.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Strong ability to create clarity out of ambiguity, and a can-do attitude; stellar written, verbal, and organizational skills.
- 3-5 years of AI product development experience is highly desirable.
- At least 8 years of experience in an engineering role.
- Technical expertise in either video workflows or video-centric AI (bonus points if you’ve done both).
- Strong bias for action and accountability.
- Some technical skills are highly desirable :
- GANs and VAEs model usage application experiences.
- TensorFlow.
- Pytorch.
- TensorRT optimization in real production.
- Triton inference server.
- ONNX Runtime.
- TensorFlow serving.
- High performing API in high concurrent and low latency environments.

- Background as a founder or early engineer of a developer-facing product.
- A deep existing network within the AI community.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary : $165-$210k USD.
- Competitive token package with 3 year vesting.
