Overview :

An esteemed construction owner's representative firm seeks a project manager for a high-profile, architecturally significant residential construction project in Miami, Florida.

This project, currently under a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), represents a unique challenge and opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to a landmark project that will set new standards in residential construction.

Ideally, this candidate would be located in Miami, FL.

Role Description :

In this vital role, you'll join a team renowned for its dedication to quality, innovation, and collaboration. You'll manage all aspects of this exclusive project, from initial planning through to completion, ensuring it meets the high standards expected by our sophisticated clients and leadership team.

This position offers the chance to be at the forefront of industry practices, making proactive recommendations and decisions that will shape the future of high-end residential construction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage the 'Project Plan', aligning project pillars, program, budget, and goals with the overarching vision for the project.
  • Lead the team selection process, conducting due diligence to hire the best architects, designers, engineers, contractors, and specialists.
  • Oversee contract administration, ensuring clear communication and adherence to project goals and standards across all consultancy and contractor agreements.
  • Guide the design and construction process through all phases, ensuring the project adheres to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage the project budget, developing detailed documents to track all costs and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Handle schedule management, maintaining a detailed Project Milestone Schedule to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate project meetings, lead discussions, and ensure all stakeholders are informed of progress and decisions.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Required Experience and Skills :

  • 5-10 years of experience in high-end residential architecture, construction, or project management, ideally with projects exceeding $10 million in general contractor costs.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • In-depth knowledge of the design and construction process, capable of managing complex projects with minimal oversight.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, including Google Docs, Sheets, Microsoft Office, Docusign, Adobe, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of managing diverse client relationships and effectively navigating project challenges.
  • A self-starter with high emotional intelligence, capable of leading teams, and managing multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.

Compensation : The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $210,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
