Job Summary

This Company is actively looking for a motivatedindividual to enhance the performance of our Licensing Division.The ideal candidate should possess experience in IP management andtransactions.

We prefer candidates who are selfstarters energeticand proactive capable of working both independently andcollaboratively.

In this role the candidate willbe tasked with monetizing a robust and expanding portfolio ofworldwide patent assets. Its essential for the candidate to feel atease in a position that involves working with various stakeholderswho may have differing priorities.

Responsibilities :

• Develop tailored monetization strategies torealize the full value of our IP portfolio.
• Implement monetization strategies through :
• Building a broad range of internal and externalstakeholder relationships to establish partnerships.
• Conducting comprehensive due diligence to supporttechnology transactions aimed at maximizing value and minimizingrisks.
• Leading negotiations anddrafting / executing agreements.
• Maximize the value of existing license agreements by :
• Ensuring licensee compliance including royaltycompliance and implementing monitoring mechanisms to preventrevenue leakage.
• Conducting regularevaluations of license agreements and licensee performance toprevent value deterioration.
• Deliver regular project update briefings to seniormanagement on progress versus plan.

Requirements :

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
• Bachelors degree in aScience or Engineering discipline; an advanced degree such as MSPh.D. or an MBA is preferred.
• 10 years ofcombined experience in a minimum of three of the followingfunctions : research development operations business developmentintellectual property management intellectual property transactionsconsulting and finance.
• Proven ability toassess IP and its impact generate licensing opportunities negotiateterms and execute agreements.
• Experience incomplex licensing and sales transactions preferably in the Oil& Gas industry.
• Experience in marketingand communications campaigns particularly related to technologymarketing.
• Experience in freedom to operate(FTO) analyses and developing evidence of use / claim charts arepreferred.
• Strong leadership communicationresearch / analytical organizational creative and problemsolvingskills.
