VCA Westerville East Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team in Westerville, Ohio!

We are an AAHA-accredited small animal 5 doctor general practice looking to add to our outstanding team.

About the Role

As Veterinary Assistant, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include :

• Compassionate patient care
• Client education and care
• Venipuncture and catheter placement
• Radiology and diagnostics
• Lab sample collection and processing
• Assisting with dentistry, surgery, and anesthesia
• Medication preparation and administration
• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Medical recordkeeping
