Are you an outstanding P & C Insurance Producer looking to join a successful company? Northern St. Joe County & Lower Michigan.
In this position, you will service existing small business accounts, provide support for producers to facilitate new business growth, and retain existing clients while directing sales of commercial lines.
REQUIREMENTS
- Provides daily customer service to existing customers, documenting all conversations in the agency management system.
- Discusses insurance needs with customers and advises them on proper products to meet their needs.
- Coordinates renewals of existing accounts with producers, suggesting additional coverages.
- Negotiates terms and premiums with underwriters and has the authority to bind coverage on behalf of underwriters of various insurance agencies.
- Works with producers to quote their prospects and the various insurance carriers to place the business.
- Must maintain a license in good standing with the IN / MI Department of Insurance.
- Must complete all compliance training related to the position.
- Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements.
- Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Five years experience is preferred.
- Risk management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of agency management and carrier rating systems.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential.
- Ability to work independently to achieve sales goals.
- Attention to detail.
LICENSES
Insurance designation started; Property & Casualty license preferred.
