About the Position
The KTS Customer Service Representative is critical to the success of the Kenco Transportation operations and is responsible for, but not limited to, the successful implementation of transportation operations and the overall success of the business and facilities of Kenco Transportation Services.
Functions
- Schedule customer exchanges, inbound deliveries, and outbound return shipments.
- Contact customers to provide updates on upcoming deliveries.
- Schedule deliveries with end customers.
- Update Samsung representatives on pickups and exchanges.
- Assist delivery agents with directions.
- Print and place shipping labels on appliances and televisions.
- Assist in dispatching and assigning work for delivery agents.
- Enter and update shipments throughout their lifecycle in the transportation management system.
- Maintain list of fleet and company assets.
- Refine dispatching operations.
- Maintain relations with clients and customers.
- Perform any other reasonable request as directed by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years related experience and / or training in a transportation environment preferred
- 2 years of customer service experience or equivalent experience required.
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Be organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to foster a teamwork environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other department managers
