About The Position

License : KY or Compact license required

Description :
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of ICU / Tele experience with medical / surgical trauma / critical patients.
All licenses and certifications must be in hand prior to assignment.
Travelers must be able to work their full schedule without conflicts.
Request for time off must be submitted at the time of application.
Requests for time off will not be approved if submitted after the assignment has started.
No holiday time off requests accepted.
Local travelers within 75 miles are not accepted.
Patient ratios for days and nights is 2 : 1.
Float requirement within the hospital may apply.
Special procedures performed in this unit may require traveling to imaging departments.
Common patient diagnoses include sepsis, GI bleeds, DKA, multi-system organ failure, pneumonia, and respiratory failure.
Compliant candidates must meet basic certifications and competency exams.
References from a charge nurse or supervisor are required at the time of submission.
Candidates must float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.
Travelers who have previously worked in the facility must declare this prior to submission.
Any candidates with license infractions will not be considered for this position.
