Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation Job Specialty : Rehab Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 AM - 7 PM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : 2 years of experience required;
acute rehab experience preferred License : Current RN license or temporary license required in the state of practice or compliance with National License Compact state requirements Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have : Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider status according to American Heart Association Job Description : - Collect data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or situation.
- Analyze assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation.
- Develop a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes.- Implement the identified plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with any applicable legal or policy parameters or principles.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.- Practice in a manner that is congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles.
- Communicate effectively in all areas of practice.- Collaborate with healthcare consumer and other key stakeholders in the conduct of nursing practice.
- Demonstrate leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.- Seek knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice and promotes futuristic thinking.
- Integrate evidence and research findings into practice.- Contribute to quality nursing practice.- Evaluate one's own and others' nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations.
- Utilize appropriate resources to plan, provide, and sustain evidence-based nursing services that are safe, effective, and fiscally responsible.

Additional Notes : - Uniform : Navy blue scrubs- Only one holiday off permitted for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, or Valentine's Day- Language Requirements : Must speak, read, and write English fluently Physical Requirements : - Requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Must be able to lift and support up to 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.- Good sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch required.
- Finger dexterity and critical thinking abilities necessary.- Ability to respond quickly to changes in patient and / or unit conditions.
