We are hiring substitute teachers and paraprofessionals for the KIPP St. Louis Public Schools. No previous experience is required!

Substitutes are essential in ensuring students continue to learn and grow every day. Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher or relief teacher.

Minimum requirements :

  • 36 college credit hours or high school diploma and completion of substitute training course
  • For a limited time, Kelly Education is offering the substitute training course free of charge for candidates without the 36 college credit hours
  • Missouri Substitute Certification Process

Responsibilities :

  • Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
  • Build a classroom environment that's conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability and interests of students
  • For long-term assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
