Senior Staff Software Engineer

Our team is hiring for an intermediate level Software Engineer who can design and develop Cloud native Network Function , Virtual Network Function in IP Networking, Datapath, Control Path, Routing Protocols, Network Security in Network Space.

Responsibilities :

Design and develop new software features and enhancements related to Cloud Native Network Function , Virtual Network Functionswitching / routing on Ruckus SmartEdge platform.

Come up with creative solutions to design / architecture issues .

Review and prepare functional and design documents.

Review test plans prepared by SQA.

Identify and resolve customer problems.

Requirements :

• Development experience and good knowledge in Cloud Native Function, VNF, Ethernet switching, IP forwarding unicast and multicast.
• Required to have knowledge / experience in VxLAN, xSTP, LACP.
• Required to have knowledge / experience in VRRP, basic L3 unicast routing protocols and basics of IP multicast.
• Required to be very strong in C programming, data structures, multithreading and SMP.
• Required to have solid Linux development experience, especially developing multithreaded software running on multicore systems.

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs.

Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance.

This position's expected compensation is $102,000.00-$135,000.00
