What You Will Do

• Use blueprints, sketches, computer-aided design (CAD) and work instructions to produce precision parts
• Produce parts that meet required machine output specifications while maintaining high production rates
• Perform precise measurements with precision measuring devices / gages for turning / shaping tasks
• Monitor machine operation, troubleshoot, and appropriately adjust inputs to correct any issues outside specified tolerances
• Operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Lathes / MCL (Material Control Lab) machines and / or other turning / cutting and grinding equipment.
• 1st shift or 2nd shift (M-Thu)
• Review and understand blueprints, drawings, and / or written instructions to understand the machine output specifications
• Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
• Perform basic shop math, use precision measurement instruments and metrology tools.

Qualifications You Must Have

• HS Diploma or GED
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

• 6 months manufacturing experience, technical training, military training experience, or completion of Certified Manufacturing Specialist Program
• 1 year of CNC machine operator experience that would include, but not limit to retooling, minor maintenance, changeovers, and first article inspection.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
• Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers, or CMM) to take accurate measurements
• Experience with MS Office Suite

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
