About Company :

Scott Humphrey has partnered with a 30+ year established General Contractor renowned in the Atlanta, GA area for its top-notch portfolio of commercial and multifamily construction projects and are actively seeking 3+ year experienced Project Managers and / or Senior Project Managers .

The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, planning, scheduling, and overall management of construction projects ensuring they are completed according to established codes and delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications :

• 3+ years of experience working on diverse Multifamily & Commercial Construction
• Ground up Mixed-Use, Garden Style, and Wrap Style apartment projects preferred
• Diverse commercial projects preferred especially within healthcare and aviation project as a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or other relevant discipline preferred but not required
• Successfully managed multiple projects to completion with values ranging from $5M-$100M (minimum).
• Ability to organize, analyze, and problem solve challenges when they occur on assigned projects.
• Effective communication and ability to build / foster strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in construction-related software / technology and Microsoft Office. Procore experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
• Strong communication skills

Project Manager Responsibilities :

• Ground-up project delivery and successful outcome from pre-construction through closeout.
• Develop scopes of work and perform project buyout.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and other third parties. Evaluate contractor performance to ensure contractual obligations are being met.
• Control project budget.
• Review RFI’s, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Manage and process pay applications and change order requests.
• Identify, report, and resolve any issues that may impact the budget or schedule.
• Act as liaison between architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Attend regular project / progress report meetings.
• Partner with Superintendent on overall project performance.
• Direct and mentor subordinate staff, i.e. Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers.
• Perform periodic site visits to inspect progress and quality of work.
• Direct and oversee completion of project
• Develop plan of action including schedule, resources and work plan
• Assess risks and establish contingency plans
• Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders
