Waterview Hills Campus is home to Waterview Hills and Salem HillsRehabilitation & Healthcare : Two facilities committed toproviding outstanding Subacute Rehab and LongTerm Sed Nursing Care.
Together these facilities offer patients the best rehab and nursingcare they can obtain after their hospitaldischarge.
- Registered Nurse RN utilizes thenursing process in the care of designated Residents administersmedications & treatments to residents & doentsappropriately on igned nursing unit
- RegisteredNurse RN reports findings of ongoing observations / essments to thedesignated Charge Nurse Nursing Supervisor & / or UnitManager
- Registered Nurse RN demonstrateknowledge of basic test / lab collection values deliver directresident care consistent with the policies / procedures &Resident Bill of Rights in combination with demonstrated clinicalss / knowledge
- Registered Nurse RN willidentify / respond timely to patientconcerns / needs
- Registered Nurse RN demonstrateseffective interpersonal ss necessary to ensure appropriate qualitypatient care
- Prepare resident ignmentsconsidering the category of needs of the patient & competencyof personnel monitor / evaluate the flow of activity & deliveryof patient care provided (positioning bathing etc.
uredoentation records (ADLs meal intake etc.) are completed forCNAs
Is punctual and / or provides propernotification for lateness or absenteeism
Requirements :
- Graduate of an approved school ofnursing
- Licensed & registered in goodstanding in New York State as an Registered NurseRN
- Experience with geriatric patients isdesirable but not required.
- Sincere desire towork with the elderly chronically ill &disabled
- Possess a spirit of cooperation &enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation& growth
- Knowledge of medical social &psychological needs of residents general nursing theory &practice & infection preventionprinciples / ods
- Ability to communicate wellverbally with residents families &staff
