Vehicle Installer Daytona

This rolerequires overnight travel away from home 25% of time (always homeonweekends).

Overview :

Installerwill understand basic automotive electrical wiring and installationof various equipment

to meetrequirements

PositionResponsibilities :

Disassemble automotive trim and reinstall without damage.

Disassemble automotive bodypanels bumper covers etc. and reinstall withoutdamage.

Perform factory likeinstallations of perimeter lighting lightbars siren controllers andspeakers.

Ability to readschematics installation diagrams andinstructions

Perform qualityinstallations of push bumpers vehicle partitions vehicle storageboxes computer docking stations and other police vehicle relatedequipment.

Have a clearunderstanding of DC voltage and installation of 12volt DC poweredequipment such as lighting siren controllers speakers relayscontrollers computer equipment and batterychargers.

Have a clearunderstanding of DC electrical connections and connectors andproper routing and / or fabricating wire harnesses in a clean andprofessional manner.

Have workingknowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) test equipment including wattmeters connector types andusage.

Requirements

This position requires the skills and knowledge normally obtainedthrough the successful completion of a high school degree GED orequivalent

Tools required forinstallation of above police related vehicle equipment to includebut not limited to wire strippers crimpers socket sets wrenchespliers cutters electric driver drills andratchets.

This position requiresstanding & bending throughout theworkday.

Ability to represent thecompany at all levels withinorganization.

Candidates must beable to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Willingness to perform work in a nonair conditioned and / or outdoorenvironment.

Ability to beselfmotivating

Preferably Two (2)plus years experience in Electronics and / or electricalequipment.

Candidates must pass apreemployment background check and drug test and must have a validUS driver s license and a reasonably clean driving record for thepast five years.

Due to the LawEnforcement Systems this role will work on candidates with Felonieswill not pass a backgroundcheck.

Candidatesmust be able to pass a preemployment background check &drug screen.

Haveworking knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) test equipment including,watt meters, connector types and usage.
