SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - HYBRID (2 days a week in-office)
Our client is a successful distributor that was founded over 40 years ago! Due to growth they are restructuring and expanding their current accounting team and adding a Senior Accountant!

What You Will Do :
- Oversee month end close process
- Maintain balance sheet schedules with proper backup
- Borrowing Base completion with supporting documents
- Fixed Asset and depreciation schedule management
- Financial Statement preparation
- Budget to Actual Financials
- Review Open Receiver subledger for data accuracy and raw representation of liability
- Maintain clean AR Aging subledger via applying payments, issuing refunds, moving deposits
- Overview of AP Aging in combination with AP files on share drive confirming problem invoices are getting resolved
- Equipment subledger review as needed
- Parts subledger analysis for transactional issues causing balancing problems with GL
- Ensure subledgers are in balance with general ledger daily
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to resolve complex problems with multiple variables
- Ability to work effectively independently, accurately, and contribute to a team-oriented environment in a fast-paced and changing business climate
- Possess a high standard of business and financial ethics
- Highly organized, flexible, and detail-oriented individual who can perform and execute under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of advanced Excel practices
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 4-5 years of accounting experience in a corporate accounting environment.
