Responsibilities and Impact :
Proactively lead and support S&P Global's transaction tax compliance (sales & use tax, GST / HST / QST), and business critical initiatives and priorities with opportunities for growth and make significant contributions to the firm's success.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and support the company's Transaction Tax compliance activities - US Sales and Use tax, Canada GST / HST and Provincial taxes.
- Run reports, reconcile, and submit transaction tax returns as assigned.
- Contribute to process efficiencies and documentation projects.
- Support monthly compliance metrics and trackers.
- Support the tax team with various credit / refund opportunities (requires research, data collection, and presentation).
