Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on pediatric services at an elementary school setting located in Burnsville, NC. This contract position is aligned with the full school year schedule and is ideal for therapists seeking either part-time or full-time commitments. Candidates will serve a K-12 caseload and must provide services onsite.

Qualifications / Experience :

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) required
  • Experience with pediatric populations preferred
  • SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or in progress accepted
  • Licensure appropriate for school settings
  • Familiarity with school-based speech therapy best practices

Responsibilities :

  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services to students across K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the school environment
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and professional development activities
