Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Middletown, NY. This contract role during the current school year offers the chance to impact the speech and language development of students across a diverse age group.

Key Qualifications :

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in healthcare and pediatric settings preferred
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required
  • Previous work in school-based speech therapy highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families

Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each childs needs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant regulations and policies
