Position Summary
As an Outside Sales Representative, your role is integral to the success of our company. Your responsibilities encompass a wide array of crucial tasks that directly impact our customers and the growth of our business.
From delivering accurate product information and pricing to ensuring timely deliveries, your dedication plays a vital role in fostering lasting relationships with both new and existing accounts.
Your mission as an Outside Sales Representative is not only to meet customer needs but to exceed their expectations. By diligently following up on deliveries and proactively addressing any concerns, you contribute to the seamless functioning of our sales operations.
Your efforts in nurturing client relationships are at the core of our success, as you help build trust and loyalty among our valued customers.
Furthermore, your focus on expanding sales channels and seeking out new opportunities demonstrates your commitment to driving growth within our organization.
By identifying potential leads and leveraging existing accounts, you play a pivotal role in expanding our market reach and increasing revenue streams.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining and identifying new sales opportunities within prospective and existing accounts. Make sales calls to develop and maintain a solid customer relationship to increase and satisfy the customer’s needs.
Build positive relationships with strategic customers to create long-term value and new business opportunities.
Identify new leads, manage prospects and acquire new business.
Monitor sales volumes, distribution margins and related measurements.
Regularly interact and communicate with various internal departments to provide vital information that may be necessary for servicing the customer.
Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas.
Outside Sales Representative Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and professional interactive skills necessary to perform at a high level.
This position requires the ability to communicate effectively via email, phone, and in person.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, including planning, prioritizing and executing multiple initiatives while using effective time management skills.
Must demonstrate exceptional work habits, this includes; punctuality, reliability, consistent attendance as it relates to job role and customer’s needs.
Must be goal driven with great organizational and administrative skills in order to self-manage.
Must be willing and able to travel up to 75% of the time.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Total Compensation
Anticipated commission $40,000-$50,000 during the first year.
