Job Details :
- Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
- Pay Rate : $18-22 / hr Based on Experience
- Employment Type : Contract to hire
Responsibilities : As a Medical Billing Representative, you'll be a crucial part of our team, responsible for :
- Exporting, importing, and submitting claims between systems
- Managing medical billing collections and follow-up processes
- Resolving insurance denials and addressing underpayments
- Reviewing medical claims and ensuring accuracy
- Identifying and resolving issues preventing claim resolution
- Accurate documentation and efficient data entry
- Verifying health insurance benefits for patients
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare billing is essential
- Understanding of CPT and ICD-10 codes is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience using EMR systems such as Epic / Navinet is advantageous
