Residential Nurse RN - Per Diem
Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a per diem RN for our Residential Programs.
This position provides nursing services at Twitchell House, one of three residential Riverbend sites and also provides related training to Residential Counselors.
The Nurse also collaborates with residential staff, to enhance their professional growth, provide accountability, and improve the quality of services provided to adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
We follow a recovery-focused, community mental health model.
Responsibilities
- Assist with three residential programs
- Conduct health screenings
- Provide staff medication training and oversight of He-M 1202
- Assist with management of medication regimes
- Review documentation and establish QA on MARS sheets weekly
Requirements
- Valid NH RN license required
- Familiarity and comfort with electronic health records required
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills required
- Psychiatric nursing experience is preferred, as well as 2 years of medical / surgical nursing experience.
- Ability to be trained as a Nurse Trainer within the first 3 months of employment required
- PMH-BC preferred
