0.9 Night shift position. Three 12hr shifts per week
6th Floor is a 36 bed Med / Surg acute care unit, that includes specialties such as oncology, palliative care, hospice, general medical, and simple surgery overflow.
Similar to the 5th floor, we also have a great variety of medical patients. In addition, there may be times where our surgical floor is full and we have overflow simple surgical patients (such as gallbladder or appendix removals)
Responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion and skilled communication, leads efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
