The role you'll contribute : Responsible for developing and administering the Risk Management Program for loss prevention and claims control. This position ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and identifies, investigates, and reports adverse events and potential risks. This role also collaborates with various departments to implement risk mitigation strategies, and oversees the management of claims and legal matters related to risk.
The value you'll bring to the team : Oversees the system for identification and analysis of loss or injury exposure in conjunction with the Risk Management team. Maintains both mandatory and voluntary incident reporting systems to identify and evaluate unit-specific risk issues. Provides analysis on areas of risk throughout the enterprise to identify, evaluate, eliminate, or reduce incidents in high-risk areas. Coordinates, chairs, or facilitates RCA (root cause analysis) for serious risk or harm events. Investigates accidents and incidents, gathering information, sequestering equipment, and securing records.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed : Bachelors Degree, 5 previous experience in risk management, 5 registered nurse with minimum of five years in the clinical setting, Kansas Licensed RN, Certified Risk Management Professional License.
