Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
- Conduct imaging procedures using advanced imaging software and equipment.
- Ensure radiation safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during and after procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
- Collaborate with radiologists to analyze imaging results.
- Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment.
- Educate patients about the procedures and address any concerns.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology.
- Manage inventory of radiopharmaceuticals and other supplies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new imaging protocols.
Requirements :
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
- Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and dosimetry.
- Proficiency in using imaging software and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
- Willingness to stay updated with continuing education and professional development.
