The Critical Care Nurse for the Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is responsible for providing specialized care to critically ill adult patients.
The focus includes patients with life-threatening conditions such as major surgeries, trauma, brain injuries, and other critical illnesses.
This role involves comprehensive assessments, monitoring, treatment, and supporting various procedures. The nurse will also implement physician orders, evaluate patient needs, administer medications, collaborate with the nursing team, and maintain standards of professional nursing.
Graduates from professional nursing programs who hold a current registered nurse license and possess certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are encouraged to apply.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
