This position is onsite and will work a various hourly schedule between 8am to 5pm, Monday Friday.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
- This position will assist and support our human resources and administrative departments with various day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Maintain and update employee and human resource files, records, documentation, and HRIS systems.
- Prepare and assist in onboarding new hire(s); I.e., prepare onboarding folders, assist in orientation, and process new hire(s) within our HRIS systems.
- Ensure that all human resources activities adhere to company policies and legal regulations.
- Assist in answering frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
- Assist in planning and executing special events such as benefit enrollments, organization-wide meetings, employee lunch-ins, company events, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Assist in generating human resources reports and data analysis.
- May assist in providing clerical support to the office staff.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned through continued employment.

- Compensation $17.00 to $18.00 / hr (depending on experience), yearly longevity bonus.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :
- High school diploma; Majoring in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in human resources or an administration setting is a plus.
- Must be able to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, clearly and professionally.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work, learn, and collaborate in a team environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including data entry, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Reliable, trustworthy, organized, and efficient.
- Must be able to lift up to 20lbs.
- Ability to operate an automobile with a valid driver’s license.
- Must allow pre-employment screenings, background, driving, and drug test.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation and comply with workplace health procedures as directed by the public health department.
