Job Title : Marketing Coordinator

Location : Omaha, NE - In Person - 15 hours + per week

Schedule : Part-time initially with an opportunity for full-time as the business grows; primarily weekday business hours with occasional evenings / weekends for events. Flexibility is key in this role!

About us : Sirius Veterinary Orthopedic Center (Sirius Vet) is the first of its kind in the Omaha, Lincoln, and Council Bluffs metro area. We are a cutting-edge veterinary practice committed to delivering outstanding care to beloved pets. As a referral-only clinic, we specialize in orthopedic procedures designed to restore comfort, mobility, and overall health for small animals. SVOC provides a seasoned strategic marketing partner to ensure success in this role.

Position Summary : Ready to join the exciting world of veterinary medicine and make a positive impact in the community through strategic partnerships? The Sirius Veterinary Orthopedic Center (SVOC) Marketing Coordinator supports the practice's growth by managing marketing initiatives, strengthening community and referral relationships, and assisting with event planning and execution. This role is responsible for coordinating campaigns, tracking performance metrics, and enhancing our visibility within both the veterinary industry and the community we serve.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, implement, and maintain marketing strategies that promote veterinary services and strengthen the hospital's brand.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend marketing events, including community outreach programs, educational seminars, trade shows, and referral partner events.
  • Build and maintain strong B2B relationships, particularly with referring veterinarians (DVMs) and other local businesses.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for capturing new DVM referrals; track, organize, and report referral activity.
  • Create marketing content for digital platforms, print materials, and client communications.
  • Track and analyze marketing metrics (website traffic, campaign results, referral conversion rates, etc.) to evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with the owners and leadership to identify new opportunities for growth, client engagement, and partnership.
  • Maintain an organized calendar of marketing initiatives, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred). New graduates and final year students are welcome to apply!!
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, event planning, or a related role; experience in veterinary medicine or the healthcare industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing platforms, social media management, and Microsoft Office / Google Suite.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while applying standard marketing metrics to track progress through milestones.
  • Flexibility to attend events outside of standard business hours, as needed.
