Description
Robert Half has a part time opening with our client for an Administrative Support Specialist to work within a tax organization during their busy season.
The Administrative Support Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and completing projects, mailings, and helping customers as needed. Responsibilities :
- Greets customers, answers phones, schedules appointments and coordinates meetings
- Coordinates all purchases for general office supplies, office equipment, and other large item purchases
- Compose routine correspondence from general oral / written instructions; proofread drafts of correspondence for correct grammar, punctuation and spelling
- Opens and distributes mail to departments and employees
- Creates and generates reports, spreadsheets and graphs as needed
- Other administrative duties as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2+ years experience in an administrative position
- Strong knowledge of office procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (strong Excel a must)
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- High ability to type
