About The Position
Job Title : Radiology / Cardiology Technician Job Specialty : X-Ray Tech Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : WEEKENDS ONLY; Fri / Sat / Sun 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM (3x12 hour shifts) Guaranteed Hours : Information not provided Experience : Hospital and OR experience required;
travel experience preferred License : Information not provided Certifications : - Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Radiologic Technology - Basic Life Support (BLS) required through AHA - ARRT certification- ODH certification Must-Have : - OR experience- Hospital experience Job Description : Independently perform diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media.
- Work under your scope of practice and in accordance with certification / licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.
- Coordinate patient flow and the activities of the Radiology Department.- Exercise professional judgment to maintain equipment in good working condition.
- May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs.- May have on-call responsibilities.- Must adhere to COVID-19 and Flu vaccine requirements;
medical / religious exemptions only for Flu vaccine.- Must complete lab work, EKG / Dysrhythmia exam, and other compliance requirements within 72 hours of contract signing.
- Must complete orientation modules, up to 24 hours are billable, with 18 - 24 average hours of modules completed during orientation and up to 8 hours annually.
- Ensure availability to work every other weekend / holiday.- Will be fitted for N95 mask before working on the designated unit unless PAPR is offered / needed.
- Requests for time off (RTO) must be included with initial application submission; no additional RTO will be permitted after offer.
Approval is at manager's discretion.- Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives.Please submit application with required documentation.
