South Florida Recruiters has been retained by a well-established company in the Boca Raton, FL area, to identify a Controller.
The company is a leader in their industry and has been around for over 50 years.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Perform month, quarter and year-end close activities including general ledger analysis and reconciliations.
- Compile, prepare and analyze financial statements and accounting reports.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Support the budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning process.
- Manage, review and coordinate tax reporting and filings.
- Assure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals.
- Respond to inquiries from the Executives regarding financial results and special reporting requests.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA license is highly recommended
- 10+ years of full-cycle accounting experience including 3+ years at the Controller level
- Large ERP system experience
