We're seeking a talented and motivated Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our projects by providing accurate and timely estimates.
You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that bids are competitive and profitable.
Responsibilities
- Assist in all aspects of the project management and estimating functions, including implementing and managing project schedules, bid analysis, plan review, quantity take offs, subcontractor pricing collection, putting together bid information, and assessment of both winning and losing bids.
- Ensure that estimates are innovative and consistent with projected costs.
- Effectively communicate with internal partners, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
- Manage the proposal file to allow the project team to focus on operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- At least five (5) years industry-related estimating experience
- Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
