Sheetmetal Project Manager

Position Overview

The Sheetmetal Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing sheet metal projects from inception to completion. This role requires a deep understanding of sheet metal fabrication, HVAC systems, and project management to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage sheet metal projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with engineers and clients to develop project specifications and design plans.
  • Oversee the fabrication and installation processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
  • Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, plans, and change orders.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the sheet metal or HVAC industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
