The Multifamily Loan Servicing team supports and provides ongoing support for the Agency Finance portfolio of loans that are underwritten through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae.
One of the most impactful groups in Loan Servicing is Servicing Operations. The team is currently growing and is searching for a Senior Associate.
The Senior Associate will be responsible for monitoring and processing reserve disbursements. This individual will also be responsible for providing information to both internal stakeholders (other LOBs) and external stakeholders (borrowers, third-party providers, GSEs, etc.
Additionally, they will be responsible for identifying, researching, solving and / or responding to requests, inquiries and problematic situations in a timely manner.
The individual should be able to work in a fast pace, time sensitive environment at all times.
Responsibilities :
Assist with managing the relationship between Borrower, internal asset management & cash team, and third-party vendor for reimbursement for reserve disbursements
Reconciliation of disbursement packages submitted by Borrower in connection with reserves to ensure adequate backup documentation and compliance with investor guidelines
Responsible for reviewing capital improvement, deferred maintenance, repair documentation and updating results in tracking system
Ability to accurately process high volumes of disbursements
Review loan documents and servicing agreements to ensure policies and notifications are being followed in accordance with the agreement with investors and master servicers
Review loan and agency documentation to ensure compliance with Agency requirements on disbursement eligibility and disbursement frequency and minimum amount thresholds.
Participate in audits and audit walkthroughs with investors, internal partners and agencies
Provide excellent customer service to borrowers, investors and agency partners
Identify opportunities to improve and integrate processes and efficiencies
Communicate with internal and external parties with minimal follow up from management
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
At least 1 year of experience working in loan operations
Preferred Qualifications :
3+ years of experience working in loan operations
1+ years of experience working with Government Sponsored Entities (GSE) backed multifamily loans
1 + years experience with G-Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs)
1+ years experience with McCracken Strategy and Real Insight applications

This role is hybrid meaning associates typically spend about half their time (2-3 days per week) in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting.
Monday and Fridays are enterprise- wide virtual work days. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are in-person days for associates to spend time together working in our beautifully-designed team areas.
