Job Description
- Identifying, developing, and evaluating product marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
- Formulating, directing and coordinating marketing activities and policies to promote products and services, working with advertising and promotion managers.
- Generating the new product proposal by evaluating the financial aspects of product development; such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
- Directing the training and performance evaluations of the Marketing and Sales staff, including working with their daily activities.
- Managing product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies by negotiating contracts with vendors and distributors.
- Consulting with product development personnel on product specifications such as design, process, IP, and packaging.
- Using sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the proper inventory, sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
- Coordinating and participating in promotional activities and trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, and production managers, to market products and services.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have 8 years of experience in related IC marketing experience, including PCIE / PCI, USB 2.0, Video, and surveillance camera experience is a plus.
Electrical / Computer BS Engineering degree and MS is preferred.
