Epic Bridges Analyst

Day to Day Responsibilities :

• Creating and maintaining HL7 interfaces between Corepoint engine, Epic Bridges, need to be proficient with programming logic. Don't want to train someone on basic level HL7. They also don't want to train on Epic Bridges. They want someone that comes in without Epic Bridges working knowledge.
• Breaking into FHIR facet with a couple of interfaces. Wouldn't expect someone to be proficient in FHIR.
• Working on direct connections to Epic
• When they onboard new facilities, some charge conversions but not a huge deal. Most of them are real time conversions for ADT or flat file conversions.
• Corepoint is required.
• They are on Corepoint 7.5.0. Corepoint supports various versions of HL7. They have interfaces running versions 2.1 through 2.5.
• Level 3 - you should have interface knowledge, programming knowledge, know how to work the logic, have HL7 experience and be proficient not just dabbling

They are open and willing to train on Corepoint.

Qualifications

5 years of programming experience; Bachelor's Degree in IT field substitutes for 2 years of programming experience.

High School graduate or equivalent.

Knowledge of HL7 standards and experience with interface engines.

• They are a fast paced health system. Need to be very flexible, need to be able to mitigate multiple interface projects at the same time. Doing a lot with Comm Conn so talking about integrating entire facility at one time. Need to be autonomous, critical thinker, very proficient in programming skills

The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $85.00 / hr.
