Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in content area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Qualifications :
Education / Certification :
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education (Early Childhood) with required bilingual endorsement or a valid letter of eligibility from an Alternative Certification Program, preferred
- Demonstrated competency in the content area
Special Knowledge / Skills :
- Knowledge of content / grade level assigned
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience :
- Teaching experience in an accredited school or approved internship
