Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Full-Time Nights)

We are seeking a Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts. As a part of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our pediatric patients.

Position Summary :
The role involves coordinating, implementing, and planning nursing care in a timely and accurate manner.
Position Requirements :
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
- Licensed in the State of Tennessee
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire
- At least one year of pediatric emergency experience preferred
- PALS certification within 6 months of hire
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification within 6 months of hire
- ENPC or TNCC within 6 months of hire
Key Results :
- Performs a comprehensive assessment on all patients within the appropriate time of admission
- Plans patient care on an individual basis, identifying problems / needs and interventions
- Functions independently with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to the pediatric emergency room
- Documents accurately and timely
- Reassesses patient's condition and modifies plan of care accordingly
- Accepts charge responsibilities and assigns staff with consideration of patient condition and care requirement
