What you will do :
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to build new features
- Find creative and elegant solutions to complex problems that are scalable, maintainable, and performant
- Provide technical leadership in evaluation of new technologies, frameworks, tools, and green field ideas
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support in technical challenges
- Conduct thorough design & code reviews to ensure best practices & high coding standards
- Collaborate with Support and Professional Services teams to solve customer issues
- Work in an agile environment where multitasking, quick iterations, and good feedback are a way of life
What you will bring to Coupa :
- 10+ years of software development experience with Ruby on Rails and / or Java
- Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills
- Expertise in common design patterns
- Experience building REST APIs and micro-services
- Experience working with React.js (or similar Javascript framework) and CSS
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL, including performance and optimization
- Experience with technical mentoring
The estimated pay range for this role is as follows :
Based in California : $183,600 - 216,000
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
