GEE Group is currently seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated systems to enhance our clients manufacturing processes.
This role involves technical work, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Create RFQs, cost estimates, and equipment specifications.
- Maintain robots, PLCs, HMIs, and vision sensors.
- Design and support automated inspection and assembly fixtures.
- Collaborate with Production and Quality teams.
- Create and maintain work instructions and specifications.
- Analyze data to identify and validate improvements.
Desired Education / Training :
- Experience with FANUC, MOTOMAN, and / or ABB robots.
- Offline programming with Fanuc Roboguide and / or MotoSim.
- Experience with robotic water jet cells.
- PLC programming, primarily Allen Bradley.
- Project management skills.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5S.
