Position Summary : The Fencing Supply Group (FSG) is looking to hire a Sourcing Manager for PVC and Aluminum Products. The role will be responsible for developing and leading the sourcing strategy for PVC and Aluminum products for FSG. This is a within the Supply Chain team and reports to the VP of Supply Chain.
General Responsibilities :
- Establish and develop the sourcing strategy for PVC and Aluminum across FSG working collectively with each region / market to create a robust value added strategy.
- Create, update and enrich category strategies utilizing market povs, best in class benchmarks, and national / regional / local considerations.
- Ensure execution of category strategy and capturing of sourcing savings based on total cost of ownership (TCO)
- Create and execute best in class supplier management programs including- robust cost savings targets, risk mitigation, continuous improvement programs, ongoing supplier evaluation and reviews, strategic partnerships
- Develop and execute supplier contracts
- Negotiate key commercial and supply conditions to optimize value / profit for FSG
- Synthesize market trends and bring forward ongoing opportunities.
- Partner with the commercial team to manage supply market against sales forecast to optimize sourcing and purchasing execution and inventory, minimizing exposure with changes in market pricing.
- Align FSG sourcing goals across the enterprise while understanding local operating company needs.
- Partner with purchasing execution team to ensure the SLAs are being met. Act as escalation point on service improvement opportunities.
- Aid in onboarding additional FSG companies to quickly gain value in sourcing savings / opportunities through partnering with suppliers and op cos.
- Work with internal customers to identify and address unmet needs that align with sourcing strategy to deliver long term value.
- Drive and support the creation of business cases that evaluate alternatives and include cost / benefit / risk analysis for process change.
- Establish metrics for governance and adoption and work collectively with Ops team to measure.
- Communicate with customers and leadership on status of priorities, metrics, and adoption.

Education & Experience :
Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field4-5 years sourcing experienceExperience managing market driven commoditiesStrong ability to develop POVs utilizing dataExperience sourcing PVC and / or AluminumExperience managing cross-functional teams and driving adoption / implementation of business process / initiatives or applications.MS Office experience to include Excel (creating spreadsheets to calculate data, summarize data, and graph data); and PowerPoint (creating presentations), Word.Competencies :
