Registered Nurse - Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Atlantic Health System is seeking Per Diem Registered Nurses to work in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Morristown Medical Center to work flexible hours.

Minimum Education :

• BSN Preferred
• MSN Preferred

Minimum Experience :

• 1-2 years of Acute care, Cardiac Telemetry, ED, Med / Surg experience strongly preferred
• Previous Cath Lab experience is a plus

License / Certification :

• BLS required
• ACLS required
• CCRN preferred

Essential Functions / Responsibilities :

• Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Candidate will assist physician(s) with CATH / PCI, Peripheral, Impella, Structural Heart Cases (CoreValve, SAPIEN, MitraClip, Watchman, Valvuloplasty, PFO, ASD) and ICD cases.
• Administers post-recovery care of patients including, arterial and venous sheath removal.
• Must be able to assess for and manage arterial access site complications. Adheres to on-call policy requirements and responds appropriate to emergency calls per unit policy.
