Summary :

Presbyterian is hiring a Clinical Practice Specialist for the Presbyterian Medical Group at Northside.

The Clinical Practice Specialist acts as a liaison between the Ambulatory Director of Nursing and the Clinic Manager / Director of Practice Operations (DPO) to :

Collaborate with Infection Prevention, Quality, and Safety to assist in the development of policy and procedures.

Collaborate with computer informatics team to design and support to include (but not limited to) : Utilizing the electronic medical record functionality to promote safe, quality patient care, and assisting in implementation or development of new application software to support clinical initiatives related to ambulatory clinical operation with little or no supervision.

Qualifications

Credentials :

• Registered Nurse ( RN ) - State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required.
• BLS certification required at time of hire
• Three to five years experience in computer business applications.
• Two years experience in an Ambulatory Care setting required

Education : Associate Degree in Nursing
