Celebrating over 40 years in business, Saf-Gard Safety Shoe Company develops and implements safety footwear programs for large industrial, government, and service organizations.
We are currently seeking a Retail Store Manager to manage our NEW location in Sterling Heights, MI, open Monday-Friday for 10am-6pm.
First year minimum total compensation of $46K. This full-time, benefited position offers you an opportunity to expand your retail management experience and even provides commission on certain items!
To be successful in this role, qualified applicants should demonstrate an ability to :
- Wow customers with exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable customer service when assisting customers with the selection of their choice of safety shoes
- Learn various product lines and provide the benefits associated with each line to prospective customers.
- Ensure the store is clean, the show room display fully stocked, and marketing material is up to date with displays.
- Merchandize incoming products. Help plan the purchasing of fashion shoes.
- Process sales, and look up customer sales information including sales history, sales rules, etc.
- Generate new business in local retail area through phone calls and marketing directed at consumer needs in the area.
- Support the expansion of store sales.
- Cross-train in other administrative office duties, such as preparing communications, ordering supplies, receiving mail, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements :
- At least 12 months' experience in retail sales management
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Ability to learn and utilize company operating system (Navision).
- Demonstrated experience handling credit and cash transactions
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative role
