The CDL A Driver will utilize a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to operate a commercial vehicle to deliver vehicles. The CDL A Driver will work with the dispatch team to complete assignments.

This is a long haul driver position. This position requires a commitment to up to four days of travel per week transporting vehicles to dealerships across various states throughout the country.

As a CDL A Driver, you will :

• Operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) rules
• Load and secure vehicles for safe transport
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and check fluids daily
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Document and log all work and rest periods and miles spent driving using an electronic logging device (ELD) or on a paper log when necessary
• Retain fuel, toll, and hotel log and receipts
• Comply with all DOT rules and regulations
• Maneuver trucks into load or unload positions
• Report defects, accidents or violations immediately

To be considered as a CDL A Driver, you will need :

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Excellent motor vehicle driving record
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person allowing for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, background check and drug screen
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel for long periods of time, utilizing sleeper cab
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations including hours of service (HOS) limitations

A successful candidate may also have :

Experience in car hauling
